Kingsbury School provides an enriched environment where students and staff are challenged to reach their full potential.  Success is achieved through student, staff, parent, and community interaction and utilizing the Multiple Intelligences.  Students develop a strong sense of self and are prepared to face the academic and social challenges of the future. Kingsbury has received an Excelling Family Friendly Schools Designation from the IDOE through the continued partnership with Kingsbury’s parent organization, Kingsbury Parents and Teachers (KPT).  Through this partnership, monthly family activity nights are planned, school convocations are provided, scholarships are given to graduating seniors that attended Kingsbury, fundraising for school initiatives takes place, etc.  Our instructional team strives to meet the needs of every individual student, providing differentiated instruction at each student’s level.  Our counselors and teachers work together to provide social-emotional learning experiences that give students the skills to handle their own emotions and challenging social situations.  We believe in the power of teaching the whole child.
